About

My name is Olivia, but you can call me Liv for short! I live in the heart of SoHo, and in my spare time you can catch me trying out every new yoga studio and petting random dogs in Central Park. I started this blog to share my journey in this big city and most importantly to inspire people to find themselves and find their peace.

After graduating from Columbia I got an offer to work for J.P Morgan and never looked back. Unfortunately, I never had my eye on anything other than work for 5 years. One day, in the hustle bustle of the office, I looked around and for the first time realized that outside of this office I didn’t really have much. I was single, saw my family once a year (if I was lucky), and disconnected from all my friends from Columbia even though they were still in New York. At that moment I decided that I was going to focus on mastering the art of the work-life balance and never let money be my main motivation again. It is easy to get caught up in the superficial influence of New York City, but it is even easier to leave it behind.

I made this site to inspire people and to show them that there is more to life than money. In the age of Instagram, it seems more than ever that money is the route to happiness. Whether it be because of the designer clothes you wear, the vacations you take, or the fabulous restaurants you dine at… it is all temporary. Open your eyes and see the beautiful life you can make for yourself… outside your cubicle and off the internet.
